Castaway Cay - our favourite port of call! Located in the Bahamas and the highlight of Bahamas and Caribbean Cruise. A perfect private island escape for adventure, relaxation and family quality time.

There are three different beaches in Castaway Cay:

2. The Serenity Bay -  Located at the far northwestern side of Castaway Cay Island, where adults 18 years and over, enjoy the serenity of this place.

    You can either just spend a day relaxing, or be pampered in an open air adults only cabana massage, rent a float or snorkel.

    There are also bars in this area where you can grab you favourite drink.

3. Teen Beach - Where all the teens hang out. It includes Goofy's Sand Lot with tetherball and sand volleyball courts. This is also the place where they gather if your teenagers are signed up for Wild Side Teen Adventure which features high speed boat ride and exploring the island, snorkelling and cycling.

Dining on Castaway Cay offers an array of delectable dishes and is included in the price of your cruise package. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase by our Guests 18 years of age or older.

Cookie's BBQ
This delightful outdoor restaurant dishes up burgers and BBQ chicken and ribs, grilled island style. Situated steps from Castaway Family Beach, Cookie's BBQ is an ideal spot to grab a bite and get back to the fun in no time.

THINGS TO DO at Castaway Cay

Arrival Plaza - this is where the ship docks, there will be a tram waiting for you at the "Kargo Handling Tram Stop" you can either hop on it to traverse the island or walk along path that will lead you to the family beach.

Post-Office - is operated by the Bahamian authorities and may not be open for business every time the ship is in the island. If the post office is closed, you can still mail letters and post cards by using the drop box outside the post office or at Guest Services onboard. You can buy stamps at the Guest Services, 0.65$ and the letters mailed from either location (PO or GS) will be delivered with the Castaway Cay postmark. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for mail to be delivered from Bahamas.

Merge's Barges & Sea Charters Dock - just a few steps at the arrival plaza is the Merge's Barges & Sea Charters Doc, this is where all the boating

   adventures begin like parasailing, fishing tour, and more.

Boating Harbor

Scuttles Cove - Opens from 9am to 3:30pm. A place for our young cruisers where they can play and have different fun activities like the Monstro Point (a giant whale bone excavation site and many others), all supervised  by the youth counsellors of the ship. You will need to check in your children here to gain access for the secured play area. Although Scuttle's Cove counsellors will not bring your children near the beach/water area of Castaway cay, at Scuttle's Cove they have a new water play area, it's a 1,200-square-foot soft wet deck area provides fresh-water fun with an array of pop jets, geysers and bubblers.

Snorkelling Lagoon - Snorkelling lagoon is open for everyone to use, you can bring your own snorkelling gears or head to Gil's Fin's and Boats and rent your snorkelling gears. You can also snorkel in the adults beach, Serenity bay, both have beautiful marine life and hidden treasures for snorkel enthusiasts.

Flippers and Floats

Pelican Plunge - Named after the native Pelican birds of the Island, this two twisting water slide is a fun water slide

actives that ends up in the lagoon. It also has a giant bucket dump that delivers hundreds of gallons

   of water on eagerly awaiting bathers beneath.

**You swim out after sliding and the water is approximately 6 ft deep or more.

Guests must be 38 inches or taller to ride and all guests between 38- 48 are required to wear the provided  life jacket.

Hideout

Bike Rentals - Bike rentals are one of the activities you an do at Castaway cay, for 10$/pp, you have one hour to enjoy your back across the island.

  There are different bikes available for all ages, training wheels and child seats are also available. After disembarking the ship head

  to bike rentals stand, sign the waver form, pick up your helmets and bike. There's a bike trail at Castaway Cay that you follow, and be

                          surprised at the scenic views Castaway Cay island has for you.

Beach Sports

Spring-A-Leak - new addition water play area in Castaway Cay. The entrance looks like a storm ravaged area with dripping  pipes, broken plumbing and hissing misters that have been exposed and twisted by the tropical tempest that wiped out the original structure.
